Nova Scotia’s NDP Caucus

Premier Darrell Dexter has established the government's Executive Council delegating ministerial responsibilities to a small group of twelve in the Cabinet. Other elected members of the legislature support the ministers' work in various ways.

In the new government, Howard Epstein, is ministerial assistant to the Department of Community Services, specifically for co-operative housing and other housing programs. Mr. Epstein’s responsibilities in this regard include representing Minister Denise Peterson-Rafuse, and overseeing policy and program development.
